Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines apply across the Glonkworks platform, including our Discord community, game servers, website, accounts, and connected services. They are intended to set clear expectations for how to participate in Glonkworks spaces, interact with others, and use the platform responsibly.

These Guidelines are separate from any legal Terms of Service, which may also apply where provided.

1. Discord Guidelines
These Guidelines apply to the Glonkworks Discord server, including text channels, voice channels, forum posts, threads, and server-connected bot interactions.
1.1

Treat others with respect

Communicate with other members respectfully. Avoid harassment, targeted insults, bullying, intimidation, baiting, or other hostile behavior.

1.2

Keep content appropriate

Do not post racism, slurs, hate speech, discriminatory conduct, NSFW content, or sexually explicit content.

1.3

Avoid spam and disruption

Use channels normally and avoid spamming messages, flooding channels, abusing mentions, or repeatedly posting disruptive low-value content.

1.4

Share safely and honestly

Do not post phishing links, scams, malware, fake downloads, or other malicious or deceptive content.

1.5

Keep promotion where it belongs

Do not advertise servers, communities, products, services, or content unless it is clearly allowed in the relevant channel or explicitly approved by staff.

1.6

Respect privacy

Do not share personal, private, or sensitive information, including your own, in a way that creates a safety or privacy risk. Doxxing, threats of doxxing, and attempts to expose private information are prohibited.

1.7

Use reasonable language

Light profanity may be acceptable in casual conversation, but abusive, excessive, or targeted profanity is not.

1.8

Use voice channels responsibly

All Discord Guidelines also apply in voice channels. Avoid excessive background noise, screaming, disruptive soundboard use, or intentionally harmful audio.

1.9

Use good judgment

These Guidelines cannot cover every situation. Conduct that is clearly harmful, disruptive, evasive, or in bad faith may still result in moderation action.

2. In-Game Guidelines
These Guidelines apply to Glonkworks game servers, events, gameplay systems, network-wide chat, and connected in-game services.
2.1

Play in a way that respects others

Do not grief, repeatedly troll, target other players for disruption, or otherwise play in a way that is meant to ruin the experience for others.

2.2

Play fairly

Do not use cheats, exploits, unauthorized automation, loophole abuse, modified clients, or other unfair methods to gain advantage or disrupt gameplay.

2.3

Respect enforcement actions

Do not evade kicks, mutes, bans, restrictions, cooldowns, or other enforcement actions. Alternate accounts and similar workarounds used to bypass enforcement are prohibited.

2.4

Use progression and network systems honestly

Do not intentionally abuse economy systems, rewards, progression, game-site linking, telemetry-linked systems, sync behavior, or bugs for gain or disruption.

2.5

Follow local server guidelines

Some servers, modes, or events may have additional guidelines based on their purpose. When posted, those guidelines apply alongside these platform-wide Guidelines.

2.6

Cooperate during events and incidents

During events, tests, outages, investigations, or moderation situations, follow staff instructions so stability and fairness can be maintained.

2.7

Do not interfere with game infrastructure

Do not intentionally crash servers, overload systems, interfere with infrastructure, or probe Glonkworks services in a harmful manner.

2.8

Treat network chat as shared space

Supported servers may relay in-game chat across the network and retain it for moderation. Do not spam, harass, impersonate, evade mutes, or treat global chat as private to one server.

3. Website and Platform Guidelines
These Guidelines apply to the Glonkworks website, user accounts, APIs, forms, support systems, and the broader platform.
3.1

Use the platform responsibly

Do not misuse site features, APIs, forms, authentication flows, recovery systems, or connected services in ways that are malicious, deceptive, or disruptive.

3.2

Use accounts and access properly

Do not impersonate others, falsify identity where identity matters, misuse driver-profile linking, share access inappropriately, or attempt to access accounts, data, or privileges that are not yours.

3.3

Act honestly

Do not use Glonkworks services for fraud, phishing, impersonation, account theft, payment abuse, or other deceptive conduct.

3.4

Do not interfere with the service

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, bypass, damage, overload, scrape aggressively, exploit, or interfere with Glonkworks systems beyond reasonable and intended use.

3.5

Submit appropriate content

Any content submitted through the website or connected services, including public driver profile names and bios, must be lawful, non-malicious, and appropriate for the platform.

3.6

Help protect platform integrity

Use the platform in a way that does not put users, staff, infrastructure, or services at risk. Glonkworks may limit, suspend, restrict, or remove access when necessary to protect the platform as a whole.

3.7

Apply common sense

Not every harmful action can be listed in advance. Attempts to exploit loopholes, weaponize technicalities, or act in obvious bad faith may still result in enforcement.

4. External Rules and Policies
Glonkworks operates alongside third-party platforms and upstream services. Their applicable rules and policies still matter when you use Glonkworks.
4.1

Follow Discord's rules

Users must follow Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable platform rules while using Glonkworks services connected to Discord.

4.2

Follow upstream platform rules where relevant

When using Glonkworks services that rely on BeamMP or other upstream platforms, users are also expected to follow the applicable rules and policies of those services.

4.3

Follow applicable laws and policies

Illegal activity, platform abuse, and use of Glonkworks in support of unlawful conduct are prohibited.

4.4

Understand that outside conduct can still matter

If a user abuses upstream systems, partner platforms, or third-party services in a way that threatens Glonkworks, we may take action on Glonkworks as well.

Enforcement
How staff apply these guidelines when platform safety or session quality is at risk.

These Guidelines are intended to set expectations, not to function as a legal document. Failure to follow them may result in warnings, mutes, kicks, restrictions, suspensions, bans, account limitations, or other enforcement actions depending on severity, context, and history. Serious violations may result in immediate action without prior warning.
