Joining Servers

Use the live server list as the source of truth before you connect through BeamMP, then link your driver when you want persistent Glonkworks progress.

Before you join

01

Install the required game and client

You need BeamNG.drive and BeamMP installed before joining any Glonkworks server.
02

Pick a server from Glonkworks

Use the address and port shown on the Glonkworks server detail page.
03

Check the server state

Maintenance, test labels, map names, and player counts can change around restarts and events.
04

Read the local notes

Server-specific descriptions and rules matter, especially for convoys, testing, or event sessions.

Link your driver

Game-site linking connects your Discord-backed website account to the in-game driver or guest install you are actually using. Start at /link, generate a short one-time code, join a supported server, then paste /link YOUR-CODE in BeamMP chat before it expires.

Codes are consumed by the trusted server plugin and cannot be reused. If your account has a passkey enrolled, the site may ask for passkey verification before generating a new code.

Linked and guest play

Some Glonkworks servers support temporary guest play. Guests can join supported servers without publishing long-term profile history, while linked Players can build public stats and leaderboard placement when activity is reported.

Driver profiles

Your Player is the durable game-site identity. It can include your display name, bio, session history, driving stats, and recent activity when you choose to show public profile details.

Network chat

Supported servers can relay in-game chat to other Glonkworks servers. The origin server still shows its local BeamMP chat line, while remote servers receive the network copy.

Server staff can still moderate active guest sessions when needed. If a server is full, registered or linked-player reserve settings may affect who can connect.
